Who is Cara Leoni?

Cara Leoni is a comedian, educator, and self-described rascal. Originally from Wauconda, Illinois, she moved to Colorado in 2012 to attend the University of Northern Colorado and never left. Cara is a pro-rostered comic at Denver Comedy Underground and produces several standout shows, including the Colorado Queer Comedy Festival, The Assembly, Groovy Giggles, and Shrimp Tank.

She’s performed at comedy clubs across the Front Range and has been featured on sold-out shows from West Virginia to Chicago.

 

Offstage, Cara works as an educator and advocate while also volunteering in LGBTQ+ activism.

 

You can find her running comedy shows, performing at local clubs, or knee-deep in a creative project she’ll never finish.
